Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the field of emergency refuge chambers and remote monitoring technologies.

The successful candidate will provide technical support and on-site servicing of MineARC Refuge Chambers, diagnose and repair technical issues where possible, provide ongoing support and training to clients on how to best use and service MineARC products, maintain accurate records, assist with technical installations & commissioning, and promote MineARC products where possible.

Requirements:

  • Mechanically savvy with hands-on experience using tools
  • A basic understanding of electronics / networking and control systems would be highly desirable
  • Fault-finding, UPS system experience and a keen interest in new technologies is also advantageous
  • The ability to travel (domestic) when required, including at short notice
  • Be customer service focused and solutions orientated
  • Previous exposure to underground mining will be highly regarded, although certainly not essential
  • Must hold a current Drivers Licence
  • You present well, have excellent communication skills and the ability to talk to and build rapport with relevant internal & external stakeholders
  • Once trained and up to speed, you can confidently train small groups on the use of MineARC products
  • Strong work ethic and comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team
  • Well organised, with solid time-management skills and a keen attention to detail
