Job Description:
  • Job Summary:
  • This is a critical role that requires a strong background in biomedical engineering, medical science, or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and CRT devices at the direction of their manager.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications:
  • Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement, or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) essential.
  • Desirable qualifications:
  • Cardiac technical experience working in pacing.
  • Minimum 1 year working with Abbott CRM products.
  • Key competencies:
  • Expert communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Stays focused and under control in stressful circumstances.
  • Ensures an accurate understanding and acts in a way that facilitates open exchange of ideas and information.
  • Effectively transfers thoughts and express ideas verbally in individual or group situations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
