About the Position

This role is part of a dynamic team that supports the Magistrates' Court in Victoria. As a key member, you will perform various administrative tasks across multiple registries.

  • In-court duties include handling bench clerk responsibilities.
  • You will also engage with clients via telephone and counter enquiries.
  • Administrative support tasks are also an integral part of this position.

You will collaborate with several stakeholders including the judiciary, Victoria Police, Office of Public Prosecutions, legal practitioners, court user groups, and members of the public.

Main Requirements

  • A relevant qualification such as Certificate IV in Government (Court Services) or equivalent is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities are essential.
  • You must be committed to delivering high-quality services.
  • Leadership qualities and willingness to develop leadership experience are also necessary.
