Job Title: Personal Support Associate

We are seeking a motivated and caring Personal Support Associate to join our residential team at our Tom Fitzgerald Residential Aged Care Home on a part-time basis. This is a fixed-term position with an 8-month contract.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal care, observing and reporting changes in their behaviour or physical condition, undertaking medication management, and liaising with healthcare professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care/Individual Support, completion of medication administration training, and prior experience in aged care, welfare, or disability support. You will also possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Observe and report changes in resident's behaviour or physical condition

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care/Individual Support
  • Completion of medication administration training
  • Prior experience in aged care, welfare, or disability support
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
