We are seeking a skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to facilitate timely customs and quarantine clearance/release of consignments. This role requires a deep understanding of trade requirements and Australian Customs & tariff regulations.
- Facilitate on-time customs and quarantine clearance/release of consignments.
- Apply knowledge of trade requirements, procedures, and Australian Customs & tariff regulations.
As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, liaising with external departments, and performing general administration tasks using CargoWise One.
Key Responsibilities- Clearing customs and quarantine duties in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Verifying the accuracy of export documentation.
- Resolving any issues that may arise during the clearance process.
- Current Customs Broker Licence and AWE Broker Accreditation.
- At least 12 months experience in customs brokering or 2+ years as a customs compiler.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
