Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier with a strong commitment to workplace health and safety. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced WHS Officer to join our team and contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. As a WHS Officer, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our workplace health and safety program. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular WHS inspections and daily WHS walk-throughs, providing advice and support to management on WHS-related issues, and promoting positive behaviors. You will also be responsible for ensuring all staff are trained in emergency procedures, SOPs, and any other mandatory training or licenses. Additionally, you will undertake risk assessments and updates of SOPs, conduct staff inductions, and assist with the management of Workers Compensation Claims. To be successful in this role, you will require a qualification in WHS (Cert IV or Diploma), excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven computer literacy in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
