Risk and Resilience Specialist
DescriptionThis role is focused on building disaster preparedness and resilience for the organisation and the wider community. You will support senior stakeholders in developing a comprehensive approach to disaster risk reduction.
The successful candidate will have expertise in emergency management, business continuity, and crisis response strategies. They will also contribute to policy development and strategic planning related to community safety and organisational resilience.
Responsibilities- Develop and integrate an all-hazards approach to disaster risk reduction
- Embed resilience into policies, procedures and service delivery
- Engage with internal teams and the community to promote preparedness and recovery strategies
- Manage effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Contribute to emergency management plans, business continuity frameworks and crisis response strategies
We are seeking candidates with relevant qualifications and experience in emergency management, business continuity and crisis response strategies. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role.
