About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, hoisting, meals, household tasks, and meaningful engagement within home and community environments.

About You
  • You will need a Cert IV in Disability or relevant qualification and at least 6 months' experience in the sector.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is also required.
  • Other essential qualifications include a Working with Children Check, First Aid training, and Manual Handling training (or willingness to obtain).
  • An International Police check (if applicable) and access to a car with a driver's license are also necessary.
  • Key skills for this role include a positive, reliable, empathetic approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.
  • You should have demonstrated experience working with individuals who may have complex support needs in different environments.
  • Flexibility and availability are also essential, with the ability to work various shifts.
