We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team in the Surgical Ward at Orange Health Service. Our goal is to provide a high-quality service that builds healthier people and thriving communities.

About the Role

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patients within the Surgical Unit. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality care and support to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and plan patient care requirements in consultation with other members of the healthcare team.
  • To implement and evaluate patient care plans, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • To maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Enrolled Nurse registration with the relevant health authority.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar nursing role, preferably in a surgical ward setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
