About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team at Clough Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Claims and Variations: Assist with the preparation of claims and variations for the adjustment of compensation and time under the head contract and assigned subcontracts.
  2. Subcontractor Management: Partner with the project team to review and certify subcontractor's progress payment claims in accordance with the timeframes included in the relevant subcontract and legislation.
  3. Commercial and Contract Advice: Provide commercial and contract advice and support to the project team managing the assigned subcontracts.
  4. Cost Control and Forecasting: Provide input to cost control and forecasting of final cost at completion position for assigned subcontracts.
  5. Claims Resolution: Assist with the management and resolution of all claims with subcontractors / suppliers in accordance with Contract Formation and Administration Operating Standards.
  6. Progress Meetings: Participate in progress meetings with assigned subcontractors to ensure all outstanding commercial and contract matters are dealt with in accordance with the time frames prescribed in the subcontract.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Previous experience as a commercial or contracts administrator on infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects.
  2. Subcontractor Management: Recent experience in the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
  3. Software Skills: Associated experience in the use of Corporate Management software packages, preferably SAP, NPP and Vision.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills.
  5. Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management and economics (CM&E) is preferred.
