Job Opportunity: Vegetation Management Professionals

We are seeking experienced and skilled vegetation management professionals to join our team. As a key player in maintaining the safety and efficiency of Australia's electricity network, we provide essential services that ensure the reliability of power supply to communities across the country.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage vegetation growth around high voltage electrical infrastructure, ensuring that trees and other plant life do not pose a risk to the safe operation of the network. This involves regular site inspections, tree pruning, removal, and maintenance activities, as well as collaborating with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential vegetation hazards;
  • Develop and implement effective vegetation management plans;
  • Operate a range of equipment, including chippers and elevating work platforms;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on site activity;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • White Card (Construction Safety) certification;
  • Heavy vehicle driver's licence;
  • Current licence to operate an Elevating Work Platform (EWP);
  • Cert II ESI and Cert III Arboriculture qualifications;
  • First Aid certification;
  • Chemcert;
