We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Associate to join our team at Perpetual. As a key member of our Wealth Management team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and support to our Financial Advisers and Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively participate in client meetings to support the Financial Advisers in delivering a highly personal and compelling client experience.
- Arrange and coordinate documentation for client meetings, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and presented in a clear and concise manner.
- Oversee the preparation of annual review and new business plans, including the development of draft strategies, financial modeling, and completion of fact-find data and other inputs needed to complete advice instructions.
- Manage workflow to deliver to client needs, maintaining an understanding of operational processes for other teams, including para-planning and operations.
- Contribute to effective risk and compliance management by ensuring appropriate measures, controls, and activities are taken to fulfill corporate and regulatory compliance.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in paraplanning or related financial services experience.
- Experience with Xplan is desirable.
- Experience in a client-facing role.
- Working knowledge of investments and advice strategies, including superannuation consolidation, retirement, personal insurance, structures, taxation, income streams, and cash flow modeling.
- Working knowledge of estate planning, philanthropy, aged care, and debt management strategies is desirable.
