Lead Mining Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering, with expertise in underground mine design, drilling, blasting, sequencing, and scheduling.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will provide technical solutions and business improvement outcomes for global operations.
- They will collaborate with industry experts and report into the Manager of Technical Services.
- Develop and implement systems, processes, and practices for the Technical Services division.
- Advise on operational optimizations, including resource allocation and progress tracking.
- Support technical reviews and cost forecasting.
- Maintain an active register for mine planning risks and opportunities.
- Ensure all works under area of control are completed to a high standard.
- Supervise, mentor, and train engineering graduates.
- Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering.
- Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First Class Mine Managers (FCMM) Certificate of Competency highly regarded.
- 10 years of Technical and Operational experience across different mining methods.
- Minimum of 5 years supervising teams.
- Technical report writing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Deswik software experience essential.
