Our centre is passionate about educating children on the importance and benefits of healthy choices and nutritious meals.

As a cook, you will play an active part in creating healthy menus for children of all ages.

  • This role enables you to participate in creating healthy menus for children of all ages.
  • You'll have access to a network of cooks who share recipes, questions, ideas, and tips.
  • You'll also be encouraged to utilise the amazing Feed Australia program – enabling cooks to plan, budget, and access healthy menus for children's growth and development while in childcare.

You should be efficient and capable with experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control.

Requirements:

  • Able to prepare, implement, and evaluate the nutritional content of menus for children of all ages.
  • Strict about complying with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
  • Able to cater for individual child requirements including allergies, specific dietary requirements, and needs.
  • Keen to participate in the early educational opportunities of teaching children about healthy food by sharing in lessons and family events.
