About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Centre Cook who has a passion for food and a commitment to quality. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals for our children, while also maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
In this role, you will:
- Plan and prepare healthy meals for our children, taking into account any special dietary requirements or allergies;
- Maintain accurate records of menu planning, food storage, and handling procedures;
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and other staff members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience;
- Current Working with Children Check;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
