Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality participation programs that cater to diverse groups and age ranges. Your primary goal will be to enhance the game's reach and growth by fostering inclusive environments and promoting safe and enjoyable experiences for all participants.

This role involves coordinating program delivery, recruiting and managing coordinators, implementing regional action plans, and liaising with stakeholders to increase participation rates. You will also support ongoing training and education for casual staff and help deliver programs that support transition and retention of community footballers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the delivery of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs with a focus on quality and growth.
  • Implement regional action plans to ensure targeted delivery of programs for maximum participation impact.
  • Liaise with teachers, schools, and other program stakeholders to increase School Teacher Members.
  • Support ongoing training and education for casual staff to deliver AFL Programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and young people, with a valid Working with Children Check.
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Qualifications in Sports Coaching/Management, Recreation, Education, or equivalent depth of experience.
  • A willingness to work outside normal business hours as required.
