Soil Carbon Specialist Role:

This is a key position for someone who has expertise in agribusiness, mixed farming systems and stakeholder engagement.

  • Building business opportunities through collaborative relationships with growers and other stakeholders;
  • Representing the organization at events and forums to promote its soil carbon program;
  • Developing science-based carbon projects by working closely with internal experts and external partners;

Key responsibilities include: project management, stakeholder engagement, business development, event representation and project data analysis. This role requires excellent communication and networking skills.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary education in agribusiness, agricultural science or a related field;
  • Strong networks and connections within the agribusiness sector;
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing practice changes in mixed farming systems;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with customers and stakeholders.
