About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Officer to join our Digital and Virtual Learning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of policies and initiatives related to our Equity and Excellence strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake analysis and evaluation of current policy advice and position relating to Digital and Virtual Learning initiatives
  • Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of policies, practices, and procedures
  • Provide policy advice, information, and status, including preparation of correspondence, policy responses, speeches, articles, media releases, and briefings for senior officers
  • Provide secretariat support to ensure effective implementation of policy and procedures
  • Proactively build and maintain positive relationships, including consultation, negotiation, and communication with internal and external clients, networks, stakeholders, and service providers
Requirements
  • Understanding of policy development, monitoring, and reporting
  • Proven ability to contribute to strategic outcomes within set timeframes
  • Well-developed organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Strong skills in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior experience in supporting training programs and/or event management
  • High level of written communication skills
