Job Title

Cleaners are supervised by the Senior Cleaning Supervisor

Lead a positive, safe work culture to deliver patient service excellence in line with core values that define our approach and outcomes.

Location: Waurn Ponds, Geelong. This is a full-time Evening position. You will report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager.

Shift Timings: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Opportunity for flexible working days.

Leadership skills are needed to provide team leadership, mentoring and promoting staff wellbeing.

  • High standards in infection control and safe work procedures must be delivered.
  • Efficiencies should be driven.
  • Monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures are key responsibilities.

Well-developed supervisory skills are required. Excellent communication and ability to lead, guide and support a team of cleaners.

Provide daily shift toolbox talks and leadership to cleaners; maintain smooth, safe and efficient operations including training, mentoring, and rapid problem solving. Set the tone for outstanding customer service and high-quality outcomes for patients and families.

Support the Head Chef and Hospital Services Operations Manager in all aspects of Food Services operation, including monitoring policy and procedure, identifying equipment and service needs, compliance, promoting staff wellbeing and adhering to food safety standards.

Co-ordinating 10+ staff on shift experience is desired.

Greater than 2 years' experience in a substantial Food Services operation, preferably in hospital or hotel room service operations, is preferred.

Function co-ordination experience is beneficial.

Annual salary range for full time: AUD $71,000 - $84,000 (includes Night time loading) + super + entitlements
