Community Housing Operations Lead

This role oversees the operational and property management of community housing, focusing on delivering quality services to tenants. The Community Housing Operations Lead is responsible for developing direct reports, ensuring adherence to business plans, maintaining risk management, facilitating budget preparation, and negotiating effective service delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop direct reports through coaching and mentoring.
  • Develop and implement operational plans that align with business objectives.
  • Maintain and improve operational and property risk management systems.
  • Facilitate budget preparation and delivery, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Negotiate effective service delivery issues with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in human services or management related fields.
  • Leadership experience in the non-profit sector.
  • Commitment to social justice and knowledge of community development principles.
  • Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act, Community Housing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in social and affordable housing operations.
  • Team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numerical and financial skills.
