Insurance Underwriting Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned underwriter to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of insurance.

This role combines technical underwriting expertise with relationship building, allowing you to build genuine connections with brokers and clients while working autonomously within a collaborative environment.

  • Drive the growth and maintenance of profitable business within our allocated portfolio of business.
  • Undertake personal underwriting of schemes and policies, including new business.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers, partners, and internal colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to maximise profitability.
  • Contribute to risk management practices by sitting at the first line of defence.
Your Background
  • Multiline property and casualty experience (or a willingness to develop it).
  • Strong broker relationship skills and a passion for building genuine connections.
  • Commercial lines expertise with at least 5 years of underwriting and business development experience.
  • ANZIIF Associate qualification or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • A natural relationship builder with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • A business passion that drives results.
