Job Title: Senior Medical Officer - Rheumatology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to fill the position of Senior Medical Officer in our rheumatology department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with rheumatological conditions. This includes clinical management, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide high-quality medical care to patients with rheumatological conditions
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure best practice standards
  • Tertiary Education: Contribute to the education and supervision of junior medical staff

Requirements:

  • Registration: Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Clinical Experience: Sound clinical experience in rheumatology demonstrated through successful clinical practice
  • Senior Practitioner: Demonstrate skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a senior medical practitioner
