About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Leader to join our team at Cunningham Villas in Bowen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery to our residents.

The successful candidate will possess strong clinical leadership skills, with a solid understanding of aged care standards and principles. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistent high-quality care delivery to all residents
  • Knowledge of aged care sector, standards and regulations
  • Develop, implement and monitor nurse care plans, assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plans
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and investigate issues and incidents
  • Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with Bolton Clarke policies and procedures
  • Lead and mentor RNs and PCWs to achieve optimal patient outcomes
About You

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Permanent Full-Time position
  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience as an RN
  • Experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes
  • Solid leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) cost refunded on appointment / and or a National Police check
