People and Culture Coordinator

The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized People and Culture Coordinator to join our dynamic team in a 12-month parental leave role.
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced People and Culture team, gaining exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment, and contributing to the development of our organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, triage, and direct to the appropriate person
- Monitor, triage, and action the People and Culture inbox
- Manage the Baby Bunting Paid Parental Leave process and casual conversion process
- Ensure data integrity across our HRIS (IntelliHR)
- Support annual performance and remuneration review responsibilities
- Review and administer employee contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly HR Metrics reporting
- Assist in various People and Culture projects and organizational culture initiatives
- Maintain an understanding and awareness of Baby Bunting Awards, Industrial instruments, and Fair Work Australia legislation
- Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of People and Culture processes and systems

- You have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role and are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a relevant diploma or degree.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide variety of people across all levels of the organization.
- You are a people person, with proven ability to build and foster effective relationships.
- Well-developed organizational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and key objectives.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive material with care, maintaining confidentiality of People and Culture documents and other personal information.
- Demonstrated experience using a range of software systems, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to easily acquire new IT skills as required, prior experience with a HRIS (such as IntelliHR) is highly advantageous.
