About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our team of mechanical and electrical technicians in ensuring the reliability and upkeep of critical sortation and handling systems across multiple logistics sites.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, ensuring that the team delivers safe, efficient, and responsive services. You will play an active role in site capital planning, ensuring that regional projects receive the necessary engineering support.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing maintenance plans focused on people, processes, and systems
  • Establishing and maintaining best practices for reliability and maintenance, driving operational excellence in line with these standards.
  • Ensuring the achievement of reliability and asset availability targets
  • Leading cost reduction and cost improvement initiatives
  • Optimising maintenance/engineering purchasing and supply standards, either directly or through third-party providers

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a strong maintenance background with at least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager. You will have proven experience leading maintenance and reliability functions, expertise in project management, budgeting, controls, and forecasting. You will also have exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, lead, and motivate your team.

Key traits include passion, persistence, emotional intelligence, a strong work ethic, excellent time management, and the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively. Relevant qualifications in engineering or an electrical discipline are highly regarded.
