We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Protection Specialist to safeguard our premises, assets and personnel at IIQAF. The successful candidate will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.

The primary goal is to detect, deter, observe and report on any suspicious activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect the company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive patrols and surveillance.
  • Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances promptly.
  • Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property, ensuring the safety of everyone involved.
  • Apprehend criminals and evict violators in accordance with established protocols.
  • Accurately record details of unusual occurrences for future reference.
  • Prepare detailed reports on any suspicious incidents, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building and perimeter, monitoring for potential threats.
  • Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
  • Monitor and respond to alarm systems or video cameras, operating detecting/emergency equipment as needed.
  • Provide basic first aid or CPR if required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position, demonstrating expertise in protection and security.
  • Trained security officer with a diploma, showcasing knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
  • Able to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment, ensuring swift response to emergencies.
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols, allowing for effective risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation, enabling accurate observation and reporting.
  • Integrity and professionalism, upholding the highest standards of conduct at all times.
  • High school degree, indicating a strong foundation in core subjects.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $45,000-$60,000, depending on location and experience. This competitive compensation package reflects the importance of this position in safeguarding our organization and its assets.
