About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned risk management professional to lead our team of experts in enhancing our risk management strategies and frameworks. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring robust risk management frameworks.

This pivotal role will involve working closely with partners across the BOQ Group to implement, monitor, and provide targeted assurance of our Risk Management Strategy (RMS) and operational risk management framework (ORMF).

You will lead a team of risk management experts to drive the implementation and monitoring of the RMS and ORMF. You will provide trusted advice to the business on risk management, issue and incident response, and control environment effectiveness.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a proven track record in assurance and risk management, gained through roles in risk management, assurance, or internal audit within a financial services business. You will possess excellent leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The ability to manage ambiguity and conflicting priorities, and to balance technical, commercial, and other issues to benefit the business, is crucial.

You will also need a high level of personal credibility and influence at all organisational levels, and a commitment to upholding the BOQ Group values of Spirited, Optimistic, Curious, Inclusive, Accountable, and Lionhearted.
