Fundamental Research Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundamental Research Analyst to fill this critical position in Sydney. As a key member of our Options Market Making division, you will play a pivotal role in forecasting security prices and identifying pricing inefficiencies.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of a sector or industry, as well as a broad base knowledge of financial markets.
  • Identify pricing inefficiencies and collaborate with traders to monetize predictions.
  • Find new sources of data and transform unstructured data sets into actionable signals.
  • Maintain expert knowledge by monitoring trends in the marketplace.
  • Employ a holistic approach to predicting distribution of outcomes and making volatility predictions.
Your Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A strong academic background and demonstrated communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for financial markets and a desire to learn about both the macro and micro fundamentals that drive them.
  • The ability to collaborate and think systematically and quantitatively using limited information.
  • Intermediate experience with programming, especially Python, as well as strong Excel skills.
