**The Opportunity**:
Our client is a well-established and prestigious Australian alternative investment management firm with a focus on real estate, private equity, and credit investments. With expertise across the capital stack and operating in all asset classes, our client provides access to value for institutional, family office and HNW's both domestic and abroad.

**The Role**:
The Fund Analyst will be based in Sydney and be part of the Real Estate team responsible for conducting research, interpreting financial statements, and developing models to evaluate potential investments and forecast returns. You will also monitor and track performance of existing investments and prepare reports for senior management to support your investment decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop financial models and analyse various real estate funds to identify investment opportunities and risks as well as forecast returns.
- Analyse and interpret financial statements, cash flows, and other financial data to inform investment decisions.
- Monitor and track the performance of existing investments and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to inform investment decisions.
- Collaborate with other members of the investment team to ensure that investment decisions align with the firm's overall Fund strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, investment banking or related field
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in real estate fund analysis or investment research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build complex financial models and perform valuation analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate investment ideas and recommendations.
- Knowledge of real estate markets and industry trends
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
