We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all the Company's financial activities. The Chief Financial Officer will provide Senior Commercial and Operations Management with finance partnership, supporting the company's strategic goals in strategic planning, profit & loss, cashflows, capital expenditure, procurement, commercial contracts, billing, revenue assurance, cost management, and operations management. The primary role of the Chief Financial Officer is to drive cost management and increased productivity using factual analysis, eying opportunities for cost savings & cost reduction plans, optimising capital efficiency, and ensuring that only profitable revenue earning opportunities and cost savings initiatives are invested into. The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and ensures compliance with statutory and board reporting requirements, ensuring that all governance rules and delegation of authority are adhered to.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Professionally qualified Accountant
  • Minimum eight years experience of working in a Telecommunications Finance environment, of which at least two years must be at the senior management level
  • Experience in leading change, including measurable improvements to operations, costs, processes, and systems
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent people management skills and experience
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, including presentation
  • Excellent at problem-solving and creative thinking, can exercise sound judgment, and make accurate and timely decisions
  • Strong Team Player who works in a collaborative spirit and accepts collective and individual responsibility
  • A result-oriented person with a strong sense of urgency and a high level of ethics & integrity
  • Can manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle a fast-paced environment
