Job Opportunity:

Heritage Officer

This role is a significant opportunity to contribute to the conservation and management of Victoria's most important heritage places. The position requires a high level of knowledge, expertise and passion for heritage conservation.

As a Heritage Officer, you will be responsible for delivering various projects and programs that promote the preservation and protection of cultural heritage sites across Victoria. This includes working closely with stakeholders, government agencies, community groups and other partners to achieve shared goals and objectives.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on heritage conservation matters;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to heritage conservation;
  • Coordinating and managing heritage projects and programs;
  • Building relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and community groups;

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Mandatory: Tertiary qualification in a heritage-related discipline and significant experience in heritage conservation;
  • Desirable: Proven track record of delivering successful heritage projects and programs;
