Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to coordinate the Empowering Young Women program in Bathurst. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, reporting on, and delivering the program within the Panthers Foundation's Community Pillar.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver programs under the Building Young Men suite of programs in Bathurst
  • Coordinate with participating schools and report on program progress to both partner schools and the Head of Foundation & Community
  • Organise end-of-program celebrations and activities for Empowering Young Women programs
  • Coordinate all aspects of Empowering Young Women Programs in Bathurst, including recruitment of schools, participants, and mentors; marketing materials; safeguarding; equipment; reporting; and expense management
  • Ongoing review and updating of Empowering Young Women programs throughout the year
  • Support the Empowering Young Women team members within the Panthers Foundation
  • Assist with Panthers Foundation activities and initiatives at home games in Bathurst; and in Penrith when possible and where appropriate

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or placement
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring, or a relevant field
  • Current driver's license
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Sports First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with schools, community organisations, and internal teams
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding and child safety protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to complete reporting and program administration tasks efficiently
