Role Overview

The role of Program Coordinator is a key position within our organization, responsible for delivering programs aimed at mentoring and supporting young men. This part-time position involves coordinating with schools and reporting to both partner schools and the Head of Foundation & Community.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people through the delivery of programs focused on building resilience, self-esteem, and life skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Deliver programs under the Building Young Men suite in Bathurst.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with participating schools and report to both partner schools and the Head of Foundation & Community.
  • Event Management: Organize end-of-program celebrations and activities for Building Young Men programs.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of Building Young Men Programs including recruitment, marketing, safeguarding, equipment, and reporting.
  • Review and Update: Ongoing review and updating of Building Young Men programs throughout the year.
Key Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in youth work or a similar field.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring, or a relevant area.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's licence, WWCC, and Sports First Aid certification.
  • Skill Set: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Experience
  • Community Engagement: Experience working with community organizations and internal teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to complete reporting tasks efficiently.
  • Program Development: Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering disability or school-based sports programs.
