Empowerment Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to coordinate our Empowering Young Women program in Bathurst.

About the Role:

  • This is a part-time position that involves administering, delivering and reporting on programs aimed at empowering young women.
  • You will work closely with schools, mentoring participants and managing marketing materials, equipment and expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate programs under the Building Young Men suite
  • Coordinate with participating schools and report on program outcomes
  • Organize end-of-program celebrations and activities for Empowering Young Women
  • Manage schools, participants and mentors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or placement
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring or relevant area
  • Current driver's license, WWCC and Sports First Aid/CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Rugby League, sports clubs or community sports environments
  • Coordinating disability, community or school-based sports
