Main Responsibilities- Operate sophisticated equipment such as AAS, XRF, ICPAES, or ICPMS.
- Maintain adherence to established analytical methods and published guidelines without deviation or supervision.
- Meet throughput targets while maintaining relevant quality standards.
- Analyze and troubleshoot test result anomalies for sample type or behavior.
- Perform housekeeping duties to meet applicable standards.
- Effectively manage consumables to avoid exhaustion.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
- A tertiary qualification or Diploma in Chemistry is preferred.
- Strong chemical knowledge.
- Effective time management skills.
- Appropriate mathematical/statistical principles.
- Excellent customer-focus skills.

- Prior instrumentation experience is desirable.
