We have a range of responsibilities within this role, including:

  • Sampling and testing asphalt, aggregates, and bitumen according to relevant standards;
  • Handling and managing chemicals in accordance with industry guidelines;
  • Managing reporting, record-keeping, and calibration procedures;
  • Providing technical support to production departments;

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, punctuality, reliability, respect for others, and teamwork;
  • A valid driver's license; and
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (an advantage).
