Chandler Macleod is seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and compliance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide income tax and accounting expertise to clients
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Research income tax matters and prepare advice
  • Communicate with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and enter commercial arrangements on behalf of clients
  • Prepare and critically analyze monthly financial management reports for stakeholders
  • Review company, trust, and partnership financials and tax returns for matters of ATO interest
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a public practice or similar environment
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate tax knowledge with colleagues
Desirable Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or currently studying towards CA
  • Experience with CRM software, such as MYOBAE
