Job Title: Risk And Controls Manager

We are seeking a Risk and Controls Manager to join our team in Perth or Sydney. This is a 12-month role that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the bank's financial crime risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess new and changing processes to identify potential risks and develop controls to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement effective controls and procedures.
  • Proactively manage risk and controls, using data insights to drive continuous improvement of the business control environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in operational risk management and compliance, preferably within banking, financial services, or law enforcement.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing committee papers and facilitating working groups.
