About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Capgemini. As a key member of our business intelligence team, you will be responsible for supporting a critical data migration project and assisting in the creation of a new data governance structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current reporting landscape and requirements within Alteryx and Tableau. You will document and analyze these requirements to ensure they are accurately captured for migration to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

  • Stakeholder Communication & Training

You will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the migration project. You will develop and deliver training materials and sessions to ensure users are proficient in using the new Power BI and Microsoft Fabric tools. You will provide ongoing support to users post-migration, addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Implementation of a Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence

You will assist the project's Data Governance expert in the foundation of a data and analytics Centre of Excellence. You will identify opportunities to enhance business processes and data usage in the new Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environment. You will propose and implement changes that improve data accessibility, reporting efficiency, and decision-making processes. You will stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric.

Requirements
  • Experience

You will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in data migration projects. You will have experience using Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI, with a solid understanding of their functionalities. You will have experience with data analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering in a business intelligence context.

  • Technical Skills

You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. You will have proficiency in SQL or other data querying languages. You will have familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools, especially Power BI.

  • Soft Skills

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will have strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. You will have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
