This is a compelling career opportunity for an accomplished professional who is passionate about using their leadership skills to support the regulation of educators.

The Regulatory Compliance Manager role will ensure educators and their employers are complying with their legislative obligations by developing and implementing key processes designed to educate them on their statutory responsibilities, assist them in complying, monitor ongoing compliance and manage non-compliance issues.

  • This role requires you to effectively collaborate with regulated entities and internal stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational outcomes.
  • You will collect and report on program data and key strategic and operational issues.
  • Develop proportionate and risk-based operational solutions in line with the regulatory approach.
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to staff implementing operational policy and support functions for new and existing regulations.

About the Role:

You will have strong management experience combined with a highly organized approach and a proven track record in leading the delivery of risk-based compliance frameworks in a registration/licensing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of risk-based regulatory practices and processes, particularly as they relate to compliance monitoring, compliance-based investigations and assisting stakeholders to comply.
  • Excellent organizational awareness and an ability to translate this into effective risk management practices across a team.
  • Strong capacity in written and verbal skills, including the ability to present complex information for a range of internal and external stakeholders via reports and briefings.
  • Able to drive a positive and innovative team culture and promote staff development.
