Job Title: National Depot Operations Manager

This role is responsible for providing management and direction to our Depot leadership teams, driving performance and profitability.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Transport, you will have 8 direct reports. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and sustaining excellent operational discipline;
  • Undertaking quality incident response & investigations;
  • Visibly leading safety & environmental management & QA compliance;
  • Managing, supporting, and growing the compatibility of people (resource planning, retention, turnover, performance management, mentorship/development);
  • Maintaining loading, unloading & docking operations;
  • Controlling and managing Depot facilities, equipment & assets (including pallets);
  • Meeting DIFOT targets;
  • Managing overheads and associated costs (labour & non-labour);
  • Being accountable for profit & loss financial analysis and budgeting;
  • Supporting operational business improvement initiatives;
  • Demonstrating behaviours that support the Values of the business.
