Job Opportunity

Repat Neuro-Behavioural Unit is seeking an experienced nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals living with dementia.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse, have demonstrated competence in mental health nursing practice, and have experience working with older persons and consumers living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized care to patients with severe dementia-related behaviours.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • Developing positive relationships with patients and their loved ones.
  • Applying a patient-centred approach to assessment and care.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Competence in mental health nursing practice.
  • Experience working with older persons and consumers living with dementia.
