The Role: Physiotherapy Leader in Maternity and Pelvic Health

This fixed-term full-time opportunity until March 2025 covers maternity leave, with monthly accrued day off. Part-time applicants will be considered.

As a Grade 3 Physiotherapist, you will lead the implementation and supervision of Maternity, Pelvic Health, and Continence Physiotherapy care in inpatient and outpatient settings. You will leverage your clinical expertise to drive excellence in client care, promote quality education, staff development, and team growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage significant clinical experience to provide exceptional Maternity, Pelvic Health, and Continence physiotherapy services.
  • Develop and promote clinical care through leadership and initiative.
  • Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills and leadership abilities within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead evidence-based practice and supervise junior physiotherapy staff and Allied Health Assistants.
  • Experience in managing and educating undergraduate physiotherapy students is essential.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in Maternity, Pelvic Health, and Continence physiotherapy, including men's health and bowel management.
  • Demonstrated sound clinical skills based on practice wisdom.
  • Leadership skills and ability to promote interprofessional practice.
