Physiotherapist - Maternity, Pelvic Health and Continence Specialist

Job DescriptionAs a Grade 3 Physiotherapist at Northern Health, you will have a key role in developing and implementing excellence in client care, promotion of quality, education of staff and students, team and program development in the area of Maternity, Pelvic Health and Continence Physiotherapy.
This is a fixed-term full-time position until March 2025, covering maternity leave. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise in Maternity, Pelvic Health and Continence physiotherapy, including men's health and bowel management.
- Develop and implement high-quality care programs, ensuring excellence in client outcomes.
- SUPERVISE AND EDUCATE JUNIOR PHYSIOTHERAPY STAFF AND ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANTS IN MATERNITY, PELVIC HEALTH AND CONTINENCE PHYSIOTHERAPY.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote interprofessional practice and lead evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Participate in the education and supervision of undergraduate physiotherapy students.
- Significant clinical experience in Maternity, Pelvic Health and Continence physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Sound clinical skills based on practice wisdom and ability to lead and promote evidence-based practice.
- Leadership within a multidisciplinary team and promotion of interprofessional practice.

$93,000 - $123,000 per year, depending on experience.
