About the Role:

The Northern Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team as a Grade 3 Physiotherapist. This is a fixed-term full-time position until March 2025, covering maternity leave, with the possibility of part-time arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, implement, and supervise Maternity, Pelvic Health, and Continence Physiotherapy care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Lead the team in ensuring excellence in client care, promoting quality, educating staff and students, and developing programs.
  • Develop and promote clinical care, demonstrating leadership skills and initiative.
  • Supervise junior physiotherapy staff and/or Allied Health Assistants, and manage the education of undergraduate physiotherapy students.

Requirements:

  • Significant clinical experience in Maternity, Pelvic Health, and Continence physiotherapy, including men's health and bowel management.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and promote evidence-based practice, and lead within a multidisciplinary team.
