We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mount Isa, specializing in the service and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers across various industries, including automotive, mining, and power generation.
  • Work in our busy workshop, performing breakdown and preventative tasks to ensure customers are back up and running safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and replace components as required, with a focus on engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.

Requirements:

  • A Light/Heavy Diesel trade qualification.
  • Experience as a Mechanic in the service and maintenance of light/heavy diesel products, mining equipment, and power generation.
  • Knowledge and experience of working on Cummins products is highly desirable.
