About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mount Isa. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers across the automotive, mining, and power generation industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty diesel engines and equipment
  • Conduct breakdown and preventative tasks to ensure customer vehicles are back up and running safely and efficiently
  • Inspect and replace components as required, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims
Requirements
  • Light/Heavy Diesel trade qualification
  • Experience as a Mechanic in the service and maintenance of light/heavy diesel products, mining equipment, and power generation on engines and similar applications
  • Knowledge and experience of working on Cummins products is highly desirable
