Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mount Isa, specialising in the service and maintenance of heavy vehicles, mining equipment, and power generation engines.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional service to customers across various industries, including automotive, mining, and power generation.
- Work in our busy workshop, performing breakdown and preventative tasks, and ensuring customers are back up and running safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and replace components as required, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
- A Light/Heavy Diesel trade qualification.
- Experience as a Mechanic in the service and maintenance of light/heavy diesel products, mining equipment, and power generation engines.
- Knowledge and experience of working on Cummins products is highly desirable.
