About This Position
This is a leadership role that oversees the delivery of clinical nursing services within Forensic and Secure Services.
The position involves coordinating various functions including resource allocation, staff management, financial planning, informatics, and after-hours nursing care.
As a Nurse Manager, you will provide expertise, guidance, and accountability for the coordination of patient flow within Mental Health and Specialised Services at The Park.
Outside of regular working hours, you will serve as a point of escalation for care, capacity, and demand concerns.
- Demonstrated advanced practice level expertise in forensic mental health nursing.
- Skill in strategic planning, data analysis, outcome evaluation, and service improvement.
- Knowledge and skills in human resource management including problem-solving, conflict resolution, staff profiling, leave management, and staffing arrangements.
- Understanding of advanced financial literacy within the healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with legislation and policy requirements, and ability to develop supporting documents.
- Embodying the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.
