Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Nursing Leader. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in sub-acute and chronic disease management, with a focus on community-based care.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and leadership within our Preventative Integrated Care Service (PICS). They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice strategies that promote high-quality, patient-centered care.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To provide specialist clinical advice and support to nursing staff across the continuum of care
  • To coordinate and lead interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care services
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
  • To participate in quality improvement initiatives and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
